Play Street Museum, an interactive, small-scale children’s museum, opened its north Fort Worth location at the beginning of April, according to a social media post from the company.
The overview
The museum has a kid-sized play city designed for kids ages 1-8, where guests can take part in immersive exhibits to help them learn about the world around them, according to the website.
Play Street Museum has locations in 14 states and in Kuwait, its website states. Each location has a different theme, and the north Fort Worth theme is “On The Go,” with exhibits and play areas showcasing planes, trains and automobiles. Guests can sit in a kid-friendly model plane, play with toy trains and drive a toy ice cream truck.
Along with a variety of toys, the museum has arts and crafts, age-appropriate science experiments and nature-themed activities.
Parents and teachers can also book parties, field trips and events for their children and larger groups online.
There are nine Play Street Museums in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including one other location in Fort Worth, according to the company website. The north Fort Worth and Allen locations are the only DFW Play Street Museums with the “On The Go” theme.
