Do you walk around San Antonio like you own the place?
Controversial TikToker Ash Trevino thinks you do, if you’re from the 210. In clips from a recent live stream, she dissed the city, saying she doesn’t like to come here anymore because “people act like they own the freaking city.” She continued, alleging that locals “don’t own sh*t. They probably don’t even own their own house.” Trevino also claimed that by contrast, she owns her cars and everything in her house.
Originally hailing from Corpus Christi, Trevino has a controversial reputation because of her online persona, countless beefs and parenting style. Additionally, Trevino (whose real name is Ashley Lopez-Trevino) was arrested in Venus, Texas, in December 2025 on two felony warrants tied to alleged health care and documents fraud — after which she posted about bonding out and heading to the casino.
That’s not the only incident her name has been connected with. Back in January 2025, Trevino’s visit to San Antonio ended with several members of a group she was spotted out and about with being arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm after police responded to an incident at a restaurant near the Medical Center. Additionally, some TikToks were posted by locals alleging more chaos — with one claiming two women tried to fight the social media star at the River Walk.
Trevino’s antics have put her in the spotlight for a while, but her exact follower count is hard to pin down because she’s had various TikTok accounts disappear and resurface from time to time. Once, she amassed 1 million followers on TikTok, with over 11.4 million likes, and currently boasts 135,000 followers on Instagram.
Later in the live stream, Trevino said people who feel like they own their city should “help the city out” and accused some of giving the city a bad look. She added, “San Antonio is beautiful, but it’s the people that live there” while also showering praise on Corpus Christi, Galveston, Houston and Ennis.
“Like, if you come to Ennis, we’re gonna welcome you like if you’ve been there all your life, and you ain’t even got to be there all your life,” she said. “Ennis is a real small, homey town. I love Houston too; Houston has amazing spots to visit. Houston and Galveston literally are amazing. Corpus is amazing. And like I said, San Antonio is beautiful, but it’s the people that live there … It’s so crazy … We’re all from Texas, so like, be a Texan.”
It’s unclear what she meant by that, but she did take shots at San Antonians who talk about her on social media, saying, “You don’t know me. I don’t even know you. Like, you really need to be more nice if you want your views up, if you want more attention to yourself.”
