AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a Dollar General store in southeast Austin last week.
The robbery occurred about 3:33 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at the store located at 1401 South Pleasant Valley Road, police said.

The suspect made threats to a store employee before fleeing in a vehicle with stolen merchandise, according to the Austin Police Department.
Police described the suspect as a Black male, 30 to 40 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 160 pounds with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark pants and a black baseball cap with white lettering.
The suspect vehicle is described as a blue Hyundai.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
