LUBBOCK, Texas — As of Tuesday, May 5, the Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit responded to the area of I-27 and Erskine Avenue regarding an officer-involved collision.
The initial call came in around 9:30 a.m., when an officer was attempting to travel through an intersection when his vehicle was struck by another motorist, according to LDP officials.
The officer was transported by ambulance to UMC with moderate injuries. The other diver reported no injuries from the accident.
