EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Thousands without power in Far East El Paso.

According to El Paso Electric’s outage map, 3,088 customers are without power on Friday afternoon in the area of Rich Beem and Montwood, and North Zaragoza Road near Tierra Este.

EP Electric expects power to come back at 7 p.m.

KFOX14/CBS4 reached out to the utility company and EP Electric said it is sending crews to investigate and restore power.

This is the same area where the substation is located, where two EP Electric employees were injured after an “arc flash” was reported back in April 15.
