Tryst is a Southern eatery and bar that’s seen success at its home off Broadway near the Pearl. The San Antonio business will soon have a sister bar closer to downtown, where Tryst is opening a new concept.
GoodCompany is a new cocktail lounge opening soon on North Alamo Street on the same block as Roadmap Brewing Co., making it a part of a growing nightlife district. Joshua Green, co-owner of Tryst, has been teasing the new bar concept on social media since at least July 2025. GoodCompany’s own social media pages have been sharing more frequently in recent weeks, with a post going out on Instagram as recently as Sunday, May 3.
“@goodcompany.satx is your playoff headquarters. 29 screens. Gooddrinks. Goodvibes,” the post’s caption said alongside a reel showing the bar’s interior.
It is unclear if the bar will open for any Spurs playoff games this week, so MySA has reached out to GoodCompany to learn more details, including a possible opening date for the bar. A rep for GoodCompany has been in touch, and we will update this story with more information as it is made available.
For now, we can confirm that GoodCompany will offer a stylish, tropical-inspired atmosphere with plenty of TVs to go around. The business will have cocktails, brick oven pizzas, DJ sets, VIP sections and bottle service.
