Paul and Cathy Guderyahn have operated Round Rock Donuts for nearly 50 years, taking over the 100-year-old business back in 1978. With the two now spending more time in Florida, the family is now auctioning off their 7.5-acre property built in Salado back in 2019, according to an auction notice release on Friday, May 8.
The property comprises more than 9,000 square feet worth of space; on site, the estate has a 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath primary home, a 1-bed, 1-bath guest cottage as well as a studio space.
Located in Salado’s Hidden Springs community, other property amenities include a swimming pool and outdoor entertainment area that features a summer kitchen, swim-up bar, a fire pit and spa. Along with the poolside features, the estate also has direct access to the region’s spring-fed waterways that lead into Salado Creek.
Within the neighborhood at large, Hidden Springs offers tennis courts, walking trails, park space and other outdoor recreation for residents.
The home, which was previously advertised for $3.75 million, will instead join a no-reserve auction hosted by Platinum Luxury Auctions, the group shared. The auction is slated for Thursday, May 21, at 6 p.m. local time.
