EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash, including one who was airlifted, on Saturday evening, May 9 in Hudspeth County, a Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman said.

The crash involved three vehicles and it happened at about 7:20 p.m. Saturday along Interstate 10 East at Mile Marker 78 in the Fort Hancock area, the spokesman said.

One person was airlifted and the other three injured people were transported via ambulance to University Medical Center in El Paso, the spokesman said.

Traffic was shut down briefly in both directions to accommodate the helicopter but is now moving in both directions. Eastbound traffic is limited to one lane as of about 9 p.m. Saturday, the DPS spokesman said.
