Minnesota, however, showed plenty of fight behind Anthony Edwards, who looked much healthier while pouring in 32 points and grabbing 14 rebounds of his own. With the Timberwolves desperate to avoid falling behind 3-1 before the series shifts back to San Antonio, the Spurs will need another strong defensive effort to slow Edwards down while continuing to get contributions throughout the lineup. San Antonio enters tonight’s game as a 4.5-point favorite on the road, but another battle is expected in Minneapolis.
