Dallas Cowboys great Zack Martin and former DeSoto standout Von Miller highlight the nine inductees that will make up the Texas Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026. They will be formally inducted on April 18, 2026 in Waco, according to a Thursday announcement from the Hall of Fame.

Martin’s induction comes just a few months after his retirement at the end 11-year career with the Cowboys that will likely land him in Canton. A nine-time Pro Bowl and seven-time First Team All-Pro selection, Martin is widely considered among the greatest offensive linemen in franchise history.

Miller, who plays for the Washington Commanders, played his high school football at DeSoto and later went to Texas A&M. The Broncos’ second overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft, Miller is an eight-time Pro Bowler in the NFL and won a Super Bowl MVP award in 2016.

Former TCU football head coach Gary Patterson is also among those being honored by the Hall of Fame. He is the winningest coach in program history, compiling a 181-79 record and 11 bowl wins across 21 seasons. The Horned Frogs had an undefeated 2010 season, going 13-0 and winning the 2011 Rose Bowl with Patterson at the helm.
