Tommy R. Sanchez, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026. He was born on September 5, 1941, to Leonicio G. Sanchez and Novertita Richardson Sanchez in Roswell, New Mexico and later made his home in Fort Worth, Texas. Tommy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Sanchez. He is survived by his loving children, Joseph Sanchez (Jennifer),and Angela Lawrence (DaRon); his cherished grandchildren, Jasmine Ladd, Isaiah Sanchez (Stefani), Joseph Sanchez Jr., Adrian Sanchez, Melayna Sanchez, Sinatra Lawrence, and Omni Lawrence; and his great-grandchild, Michealangelo Sanchez. Tommy will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the strength he carried throughout his life, and his sweet nature and generous spirit. To know him was to love him. He lived life on his own terms and leaves us with many stories and memories to cherish forever. His presence will be deeply missed and forever treasured. A Memorial Service and Rosary will be held at Amalla Funeral Home on May 22, 2026. The family will receive visitors starting at 5:30 pm, a rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m, and a memorial service will immediately follow. The service will conclude at 8pm.
