The 30th Annual Texas Book returns to downtown Austin on November 8 & 9, 2025! This year’s event will feature over 300 authors with more than 200 sessions spanning from the Texas Capitol down Congress Avenue, with additional sessions held in satellite venues.
Festival highlights include:
Children’s tent featuring crafts, activities, and drawing demonstrations for children ages 3 and up
Cooking demonstrations in the Central Market Cooking Tent
Book signings happening after each author session
Food trucks
Teen Tent with activities for kids ages 13 and up
Exhibitor tents
Storytime sessions and so much more!

The festival is free to attend, with a select number of ticketed sessions featuring authors such as Mitch Albom, Chelsea Handler, Matthew McConaughey, Ariel Sullivan, Ibram X.Kendi, and Viet Thahn Nguyen. Ticket holders receive admission to the session and a signed copy of author’s featured book.

Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10 am – 5 pm
Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 11 am – 5 pm
Where: Texas Capitol, Congress Avenue, 11th Street, and Colorado Street
Parking: Free parking is available in multiple State Lot parking garages on San Jacinto between 12th and 16th Streets
