The summer schedule for Corpus Christi pools and splash pads will start May 30 and continue through Aug. 9.
The city of Corpus Christi said in a news release that the Parks and Recreation Department implemented water-saving measures at all pools and splash pads to adapt to the ongoing drought.
The efforts involve using a solar shield water additive to minimize evaporation and pool covers to further reduce evaporation when not in operation. The measures are expected to save up to 95% of the water use.

Pools
Bill Witt Aquatic Center: 6809 Yorktown Blvd.
The lap pool is open for lap swim from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and for open swim from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The recreational pool is open from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
Collier Pool: 3801 Harris Drive
Lap swim is open from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Open swim is open from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
Corpus Christi Natatorium: 3802 Cabaniss Parkway
Open from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday through Tuesday
Greenwood Pool: 4305 Greenwood Drive
Open from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday
H-E-B Pool: 1520 Shely St.
Open from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday through Sunday
Oso Pool: 1109 Bernice Drive
Open from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday through Sunday
West Guth Pool: 9705 Up River Road
Open from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday
