LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Patchy to dense fog is possible for areas on the Caprock early Monday morning, but any fog is expected to clear out around sunrise and be gone by 10 a.m. CDT.

Monday will be warmer, but pleasant. Northerly winds from Sunday’s cold front will linger overnight through Monday morning, but will shift to the south to southeast Monday afternoon.

Highs are expected to reach the low 80s across the region with light southerly winds. Monday night will be quiet with lows in the 50s and light south to southwesterly winds.
Looking ahead
Multiple days of hot temperatures and dry conditions are expected to begin Tuesday and continue throughout the week. Prepare for an extended period of heat and lack of precipitation.
