San Antonio basketball star Arianna Roberson is the subject of new romance rumors with NBA Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg after fans noticed their tropical offseason vacation posts were made from the same location.
Each of the athletes posted photos of themselves Friday at the popular floating bar Noah’s Ark in Turks and Caicos. The New York Post shared screenshots of the Instagram story photos, which expired after 24 hours.
In Roberson’s post, she stood in the water and posed between two swings hanging from the Noah’s Ark sign. The same backdrop appeared in a snapshot posted by Flagg that showed him sitting in the swing as he relaxed in the water.
The pair have yet to confirm or deny the whispers about a relationship, which first began last month at a press conference where Flagg, 19, accepted the NBA Rookie of the Year award. DukeWire reported that Roberson, 20, attended and sat alongside family members of the Dallas Mavericks forward.
Fans have speculated that Duke University could have been the connection that brought the two together. Although she did not play on the women’s team due to an injury, Roberson was a freshman from 2024-2025 when Flagg played his first and only season with the Blue Devils.
In her first season this year, the 6-foot-4 center has scored a total of 256 points over 33 games, averaging 8 points per game.
Roberson grew up in San Antonio and attended Clark High School, where she helped the Cougars secure the Class 6A state championship in 2023. She was named the state championship game MVP and the 2023 San Antonio Express-News Player of the Year.
She comes from an accomplished family of athletes, including older brother Andre Roberson, who graduated from Wagner High School before a seven-season career with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
