LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock VA Clinic will host a drive-thru mobile food pantry for veterans Thursday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in its parking lot at 3510 4th Street.
The event is first come, first served while supplies last. Veterans must show a VA ID card.
The clinic’s Whole Health Department is partnering with the South Plains Food Bank for the event, which will occur once per quarter.
“The goal for this mobile food pantry is to address food insecurities among veterans,” said Crystal Doffoney, Whole Health specialist. “In Whole Health, our goal is to support our veterans’ overall health and well-being to improve their quality of life.”
