LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – City code inspectors will conduct a neighborhood deployment in the Harwell neighborhood Wednesday, looking for violations between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The Code Administration Department will focus on the area bounded by Avenue A, 50th Street, Interstate 27 and 34th Street.
A field office will be set up at 108 40th Street to provide information about code enforcement activities and city services. A roll off container will be available at the location for residents to dispose of bulky items.
Inspectors will look for junked vehicles, nuisance weeds and rubbish, substandard housing and zoning violations. Code enforcement inspectors will talk to the public to provide education about violations, cite violations and possibly abate violations during the deployment.
