There will be intermittent traffic pauses along FM 1709 between Randol Mill Avenue/Davis Boulevard and Peytonville Avenue, the post said. “These brief, rolling closures will occur throughout the day to support filming activities while avoiding rush hour traffic.”

In addition, portions of Players Circle will be closed. Southlake DPS suggests planning for minor delays and considering alternate routes if possible.

This is not the first time that Frisco King has come to Southlake. Last month, the show filmed in the city’s town square. Southlake Mayor Shawn McCaskill shared photos on his Facebook page then, including a picture of series star Samuel L. Jackson.

Jackson plays Russell Lee Washington Jr., a hitman introduced in Season 3 of the mob show Tulsa King, starring Sylvester Stallone. The spin-off was once called NOLA King and was to be set in New Orleans, before the setting was changed to Frisco. Frisco King was described as a “fish-out-of-water” comedy by that city’s mayor, Jeff Cheney.
