The Dallas Cowboys have unveiled another matchup from their 2026 regular season schedule.
In addition to Monday’s announcement that the Cowboys will face the Giants to open the season Sept. 13 on Sunday Night Football, the NFL also revealed Dallas will play Philadelphia on Thanksgiving Day at AT&T Stadium. The game will be a 3:30 p.m. kickoff and will be televised by Fox.
This will be the third matchup between the Cowboys and Eagles on Thanksgiving. Philadelphia owns victories in the first two, winning 27-0 in 1989 and 33-10 in 2014.
The 1989 game is known as the Bounty Bowl. After the game, Dallas coach Jimmy Johnson accused Eagles coach Buddy Ryan of offering his players money to injure kicker Luis Zendejas and quarterback Troy Aikman.
This year’s game promises to be a key matchup in the NFC East race, as the Eagles are coming off an 11-6 season and NFC East title. They are the first team to repeat as the division’s winners since 2004, when Philadelphia won its fourth straight NFC East title.
The late afternoon Thanksgiving game is traditionally the most viewed of the regular season. Last year’s game between Dallas and the Kansas City Chiefs averaged 57.23 million viewers on CBS, making it the most-watched regular-season game in league history.
