KELLER – Barbara Kay (Gore) Belcher, beloved mother, sister, mother-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, and cherished friend, entered the gates of Heaven peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Barbara was born May 21, 1947, in Brownwood, Texas. She was a woman who lived life with humor, sass, and a sparkle in her eye. Barbara loved telling jokes, making those around her laugh, and never missed an opportunity to share a witty wisecrack. Family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into nurturing relationships with her children, grandchildren, sister, extended family, and sweet friends. A true adventurer at heart, Barbara enjoyed traveling and had a particular fondness for lighthouses, always seeking beauty, history, and new experiences. She had a passion for life’s simple pleasures like, cooking delicious meals and desserts, shopping for treasures, and enjoying her favorite Mexican food and margaritas. Her dog, Gidget, was her constant companion and a source of endless joy. Barbara’s warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely. Barbara leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories that will never be forgotten. She is survived by her sons, Dan Williams and wife, Shelley, Dennis Williams and wife, Buffie; her sister, Vickie Samples; her niece, Tammy Miles; nephews, Chris Samples, Bobby Samples; six precious grandchildren; two beautiful great-grandchildren; and her high school sweetheart Jerry Mundy and his family.
