LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Texas Tech Athletics announced a night kickoff in Lubbock on Thanksgiving Day when Texas Tech hosts TCU in the regular-season finale.
The Red Raiders and the Horned Frogs will kickoff at 7 p.m. on Nov. 26 in Lubbock with the game being televised on ESPN.
This will be the first time since 2015 that the Red Raiders will play on Thanksgiving.
The Red Raiders haven’t hosted a Thanksgiving game in Lubbock since 1937.
The Red Raiders will host seven games in Lubbock in 2026. Visiting Raiderland will be Abilene Christian on Sept. 5, Sam Houston State on Sept. 26, Arizona State on Oct. 17, Arizona on Halloween and West Virginia on Nov. 7.
