Closures on Dallas North Tollway began Monday and will last until May 18. Here’s what we know.

The southbound left lane of Dallas Parkway, the tollway’s frontage road, from Alpha Road to Harvest Hill Road will be closed continuously, and the NTTA urges drivers to plan ahead.

Night closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on two of the southbound left lanes from Alpha Road to Harvest Hill Road. The southbound right lane will also be closed. One lane in each direction will be open at all times, according to the NTTA. Double lane closures will not take place Friday or Saturday nights.

The eastbound Interstate 635 to southbound DNT direct-connector ramp will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. To detour onto the tollway, motorists will take the Dallas Parkway/Inwood Road exit and turn right. Drivers can follow signs to enter the tollway at Inwood Road.

Message boards will be placed nearby to alert drivers of the closures.
