Police said four people were sent to a hospital following the crash early Friday morning near the UT Austin campus.

AUSTIN, Texas — Five people were injured after a crash at a fast food restaurant early Friday morning near the University of Texas at Austin campus. 

The collision happened just before 2:30 a.m. Friday at the Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers restaurant at 415 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. 

Austin police said five people were hit by a vehicle, and four of those were transported to a hospital. None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening. 

It’s unclear what led up to the collision at this time, and limited details are available as the crash remains under investigation.Â
