EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A large law enforcement presence was seen on Wednesday, May 13, in far East El Paso in response to alleged reports of a barricaded subject.

In addition to police units, EPPD’s SWAT unit was also seen, with officers equipped with helmets, bulletproof vests and rifles.
As well, a specialized robot was seen driving along the road.
The El Paso Fire Department’s F-STAR helicopter landed on the roadway, but it is unclear if any patients were transported.
EPPD officers were seen tapping the neighborhood off a home and out of Trotter Memorial Park, located at 14800 Tierra Fortaleza Ave.
