Kyler Murray has never lost at AT&T Stadium. The Dallas Cowboys hope to end his undefeated streak on Monday.

DALLAS — Kyler Murray has never lost at AT&T Stadium — not in high school, not in college, not in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys hope to end his undefeated streak on Monday night.

“Yeah, I’ve heard that stat,” acknowledged Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. “I think that’s mad impressive, right?”

Well before he was an NFL quarterback, Murray was a legend in Texas high school football.

Murray won three straight UIL state championships with Allen High School from 2012 to 2014 — all of them at AT&T Stadium.

He then carried the magic into college, leading Oklahoma to a win over Texas in the 2018 Big 12 Championship game — at AT&T Stadium — along with former OU teammate turned Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb.

“That’s my mans. He’s a dynamic player. Great deep ball thrower,” Lamb said on Thursday at The Star. “I’m expecting him to come out and be aggressive and be K1. He’s going to extend plays. He’s gonna try to manipulate the defense and put his guys in the best position. I hope we make him uncomfortable.”

As quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals, Murray has continued his run of dominance in Arlington with a pair of victories over the Cowboys in 2020 and 2022.

“I was hurt in one of them,” Prescott joked, who fractured his ankle against the New York Giants, in the week prior to their 2020 matchup.

Add in a couple more high school victories (regular season), and Murray is 8-0 lifetime at AT&T Stadium as a starting quarterback.

“I’m sure that he wants to continue and build off of, and I’m here to make sure that doesn’t happen this Monday,” Prescott said.

Murray has been dealing with a foot injury, but the Cowboys hope to leave Monday night with a victory — whether he suits up or not.
