Celestica plans to expand with a one-million square foot campus in Alliance Texas in Fort Worth.

A Canadian AI infrastructure company is opening a colossal campus in North Texas, bringing hundreds of jobs.
On Wednesday, Celestica, a Toronto-based leader in data center infrastructure and advanced technology manufacturing, announced it will establish operations in Hillwood’s AllianceTexas—a massive distribution and logistics hub located in Fort Worth.

The campus will span over one million square feet and is expected to create roughly 1,700 full-time high-skilled jobs across manufacturing operations, engineering, supply chain and quality assurance, according to a company news release.
A minimum of 490 jobs is expected by December 31, 2028. An additional 1,225 jobs are expected by Dec. 31, 2029. Jobs will have a minimum average annual salary of $75,000 with 30 percent of the jobs dedicated to local hires, according to an economic development presentation Celestica shared with Chron on Thursday.
Celestica plans to take two buildings in the AllianceTexas development and the expansion represents a $867 million investment, according to the presentation. The City of Fort Worth approved a ten-year tax abatement agreement for the project on Tuesday.
“This investment reflects the incredible momentum of our business and the growing demand from customers for US-based capabilities supporting advanced technology solutions,” Yann Etienvre, Celstica CEO, said in the release. “This new capacity is highly strategic and aligns our long-term growth plans with customer roadmaps and multi-year infrastructure investments already underway.”

Celestica is moving into 15301 and 15500 N Beach St. as part of Alliance Texas in Fort Worth. The expansion is expected to create 1,700 jobs.

Fort Worth officials said they are proud to welcome Celestica to the city, including Mayor Mattie Parker, who said the expansion will offer long-term opportunities for the Fort Worth community and its residents.
“Fort Worth continues to attract world-class companies that are driving innovation and strengthening our economy, and Celestica’s investment is another major milestone for our city,” Parker said in the release.

Mike Berry, president of Hillwood Properties, said the investment reflects the strength of Fort Worth’s infrastructure, power capacity, workforce pipeline and collaborative business environment.
“Celestica’s expansion at AllianceTexas further reinforces Fort Worth’s position as a leading hub for advanced manufacturing and next-generation technology infrastructure,” Berry said. “With plans for capital investment that create approximately 1,700 high-skilled jobs, Celestica is making a significant long-term commitment to North Texas.”
Robert Allen, president and CEO of the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership, described Celestica’s decision as a “major win for Fort Worth.”
“We are honored to welcome Celestica to our community and even more excited about what this means for the talented workforce that will power this facility for years to come,” Allen said.

The electronics manufacturer currently operates from another facility in Richardson, Texas, at 2791 Telecom Parkway, focusing on the enterprise and service provider market segments.
Outside of Texas, Celestica operates nine additional locations across the U.S. in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, California, Minnesota, Oregon and Arizona. The company also has dozens of international locations across Europe, Asia and Mexico.
