Williams-Sonoma is putting one of its brands in North Texas.
Rejuvenation, which focuses on lighting and hardware for homes, is readying a new store in Dallas, according to separate statements. The new store will be its 14th site in the U.S with other locations in California, New York, Nashville and Houston.
Rejuvenation’s founding stretches back to 1977 and Portland, Ore., beginning as an architectural salvage, lighting and hardware restoration shop. Williams-Sonoma acquired the company roughly 15 years ago. Other brands in its family include Pottery Barn and West Elm.
The new store is slated for Inwood Village, a longtime shopping destination that’s benefiting from the ongoing population growth in the region. It already has names that include Bassett Furniture, Trader Joe’s, Saint Bernard and Ulta. Rejuvenation is set to arrive later this year.
“I’m a customer of theirs, so when I knew that they were looking in the market — we really wanted to have them come to our center,” said Corinne Hoffman, vice president at L&B Realty Advisors, a real estate investment advisor, whose properties include Inwood Village. “It will … perhaps, bring new shoppers to the center that are looking for that destination tenant, who are familiar with Rejuvenation, but maybe not live nearby, so they might come to the center instead and seek it out.”
The arrival of Rejuvenation comes as other tenants join Inwood Village. That includes Ball and Buck, the outdoor lifestyle brand that was formerly in the Knox Street area, and PopUp Bagels, which opened its first store there in Texas.
At Rejuvenation, shoppers can find chandeliers, wall-mounted options, lamps and outdoor lighting, according to its website. Hardware choices cover cabinets, doors and windows, among other places. They also can get mirrors, rugs and bedding.
For now, the brand is part of the “other” category at Williams-Sonoma, which did less than $500 million in revenue last year. However, in a recent investor presentation, the company called Rejuvenation its next “$1B Brand.”
