CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Corpus Christi has launched a new online water usage portal to help residents and businesses track their water consumption in real time.
City officials announced on Tuesday that there is a new dashboard that allows residential and commercial customers to view current billing cycle information, daily water averages, and water usage history from the past year.
City officials said the portal is designed to help customers better understand their water use, compare daily habits and identify possible leaks or other issues that could increase consumption.
The tool comes as the Coastal Bend continues to face ongoing drought concerns and increasing calls for water conservation across the region.
“Staying informed about daily water usage is one of the most effective ways our community can contribute to conservation efforts,” said Nick Winkelmann, Chief Operations Officer, Corpus Christi Water.
The city also released an instructional video showing customers how to use the new portal.
