FORT WORTH – Danny Fulfer went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the age of 72. Graveside Service: 1 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2026, at ExRay Cemetery, 187 County Road 123, Stephenville, Texas. Celebration of life to immediately follow graveside at Huckabay Community Center, 42346 N FM 219, Huckabay, Texas. Danny was born on July 6, 1953, in Stephenville, Texas. The following day, he was adopted by two loving parents, Son and Wanda Fulfer. He was raised in Huckabay alongside his brother, Dennis, and sister, Denise. A proud graduate of Huckabay High School in 1971, Danny often joked that he couldn’t date anyone because he was related to half the town. He loved playing basketball and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf. For many years, Danny drove a propane truck before becoming a long-haul over-the-road truck driver. He was a proud father to his son, Tim-the only hell he ever raised. In 1993, he became “Papa Danny” to his granddaughter, Cheyenne, and was later known as “Big Pop Pop” to his cherished great-grandchildren, Paxton and Lucy. Danny was a natural storyteller and a gifted teacher of life lessons. Known by many as a real-life “Mr. Fix-It,” he could repair just about anything. If Danny couldn’t fix it, it was beyond saving. He was a man of many talents and interests-woodworking, cooking, and watching NCIS (a passion that grew even stronger once high-speed internet reached his home). Above all, he treasured time spent with his family. He also took great pleasure in regularly teasing the waitstaff at The Smokestack, becoming a beloved (and playfully aggravating) regular. Danny was the true definition of a good man-devoted, hardworking, and full of love. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Son and Wanda Fulfer; and nephew, Koby Johnson. He is survived by his son, Tim Harmon; granddaughter, Cheyenne Warner and husband, Josh; great-granddaughters, Paxton and Lucy; brother, Dennis Fulfer and wife, Raquel; sister, Denise Dixon; nieces, Christina, Brittany, Tamber, Sarah, Taylor; nephew, Trenton; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
