Rosary & Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2026, in Greenwood’s Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Funeral Service: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in Greenwood’s Live Oak Chapel; followed by an interment in Greenwood Memorial Park. Alfonso was born on October 30, 1962, in New Braunfels, Texas, to parents, Roberto and Sostence C. Veliz. He worked as a truck driver for the majority of his life. Alfonso was preceded by his parents, Roberto and Sostense C. Veliz; daughter, Bianca Gallegos; and grandson, Christopher Veliz. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Veliz; children, Alfonso Veliz Jr., Marcus Veliz and Kristy Veliz; sister, Rose Maria Martinez; brothers, Estaban Veliz Sr. and Jose Rene Veliz; grandchildren, Alexander Veliz, Amelianna Veliz, Gabriel Hinojosa, Marcus Veliz Jr., Ethan Veliz, Isaiah Veliz and Leslie Hernandez.
