AUSTIN, Texas — Five people were hurt after a pick-up truck hit pedestrians at the Raising Canes near UT campus early Friday morning.
At around 2:25 a.m. Friday morning, APD officers responded to reports of a crash involving a Ford F-150 and several pedestrians at the Raising Canes at 415 W. Martin Luther King Blvd.
Police say that five people were found injured at the scene, and that Austin-Travis County EMS took four of those victims to the hospital with serious injuries. Police say the injuries were not expected to be life-threatening.

The truck driver, 21-year-old Antonia G. Garcia Rios, was arrested and booked into the Travis County Jail. Police say she is charged with two counts of Intoxication Assault.
