FORNEY, Texas (KTAL/KMSS) – Three people were injured in a plane crash early Saturday morning, according to the Texas Department of Safety.
The crash happened around 12:21 am and involved a single-engine aircraft that struck a field at the Southwest corner of Helms Trail and Akron Way within Forney city limits.
The pilot and two passengers were brought to an area hospital with serious injuries. Texas Highway Patrol responded to this incident.
