It’s one big mess you’ll want to avoid.

HOUSTON — There’s a major traffic tie-up on the north side of town you’ll want to avoid.  A truck has flipped on its side, leading to a HazMat situation.

It’s happening on the North Loop eastbound at the Eastex Freeway. 

From Air 11, we could see the truck tipped over with whatever it was hauling spilled all over the roadway.

At this point, we don’t know what led to the wreck or if anyone was hurt.  We’ll continue to follow this traffic tie-up and will post updates as we get them.  Download the KHOU 11 app for the latest.
