EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — Dunkin’, the official coffee and breakfast partner of the Banana Ball Championship League, continued its involvement with the 2026 Banana Ball World Tour this week as the Texas Tailgaters and Firefighters stopped in El Paso for a two-game series at Southwest University Park on May 15 and 16.

As part of the tour stop, players from both teams took over the Dunkin’ location at 6045 Montana Ave. #100 on Saturday morning for a fan meet-and-greet event. From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., players served customers behind the counter and interacted with fans by taking photos and signing autographs.

The Banana Ball World Tour also includes teams such as the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Loco Beach Coconuts and Indianapolis Clowns.

Ben Dum, pitcher for the Firefighters, mentioned the Dunkin’ meet-and-greet acted as a way for the baseball players to connect with the community.

“This is a super unique way to get out in the community and meet with people,” Dum said.

As a Pennsylvania native, the El Paso stop of the tour was also his first visit to Texas.

“This is such a beautiful city,” Dum said. “The fans at the game last night were more incredible and we are looking forward to doing another one tonight.”

Night two of Banana Ball will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday night May 16.
