The NCAA Tournament begins today for softball and the brackets will soon have to be submitted. 

So who will make it to Oklahoma City for the the Women’s College World Series in June?

Will Texas softball repeat as national champions? What about a talented Texas Tech team led by NaJaree Canaday? Or Oklahoma, which has been one of the best squads in the country all the season. Then there are Texas A&M, Florida and any other number of high-powered SEC teams alongside strong Big Ten, Big 12 and midmajor programs.

Here are the predictions from members of the American-Statesman sports staff:
