Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Gonzales, they moved to 27-8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their 16-game winning streak.
Looking ahead, Calallen will challenge Bullard on Saturday. The Panthers’ pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats’ hitters will have their work cut out for them. Gonzales does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
