Early voting begins May 18 across Coastal Bend for Texas primary runoff election

Voters in Nueces, San Patricio, Aransas, Kleberg, Bee and Jim Wells counties can cast ballots through May 22.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Early voting begins Monday, May 18, across the Coastal Bend for Texas’ 2026 Democratic and Republican Primary Runoff Election.

Polls will be open through Friday, May 22, ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, May 26.

Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday, May 26, and received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, at the election office.

Voters across the Coastal Bend will be able to cast ballots at designated early voting locations in their counties.

Election officials remind voters they must vote in the same party runoff as the primary they participated in earlier this year unless they did not vote in a party primary.
