EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A traffic stop over the weekend led to the arrest of a wanted 60-year-old man for multiple warrants, including manslaughter and aggravated assault, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

William Tudmon was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants, including multiple counts of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle, manslaughter and aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. He was taken into the El Paso County Detention Facility with no bond.

On Saturday, May 16, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white GMC Sierra for a defective stop lamp.

During the investigation, deputies identified the driver as Tudmon and discovered he had multiple warrants out of Milam County, Texas.

Tudmon was taken into custody without incident.
