When the filing is released, that’s something we’ll all get to see hopefully. My guess is that they will argue that the NCAA’s punishment isn’t proportionate and that it is causing Sorsby irreparable damage. IF they do get an injunction, there’s a very slim chance the court case finishes before the season is over, which is effectively as good as Sorsby getting his eligibility back. My guess is that they’re hoping the NCAA caves to a 4 or 6 games suspension to avoid the messiness of a protracted court case.
