LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A former Frenship student has been charged with trespassing and exhibition of a firearm after bringing a toy airsoft gun to Frenship High School.
Frenship ISD says the gun looked very realistic and students said he was showing it off.
17-year-old Roland Hernandez was stopped in the parking lot and is now in the Lubbock County Detention Center.
Frenship ISD issued a letter notifying parents on Monday afternoon. The district thanked students who reported the incident and thanked Frenship police for taking “swift and immediate action.”
