The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two men who posed as law enforcement and forced their way into a Southeast Side home.
The break-in was reported around 6 p.m. Saturday in the 8400 block of Aloe Vera Trace in San Antonio, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
A resident told deputies that two unidentified men entered the home by breaking a rear window. The men claimed to be law enforcement before entering, but investigators said the two are not associated with any legitimate law enforcement agency.
The men were seen leaving in what investigators believe was a copper or bronze SUV with medium-tinted windows and black rims. The rear license plate appeared to be covered with a plastic bag, the sheriff’s office said.
