LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a deadly shooting at an Airbnb in late September.
18-year-old Robert Green faces multiple charges including deadly conduct discharge of a firearm, unlawful carrying of a weapon and two counts of evading arrest.
According to court documents, Green was identified at a house party at an Airbnb near 76th and Chicago on September 28.
Green admitted to investigators he was at the party and got into a fight with a Hispanic male. He told police while they were fighting, shots were fired in the area when he ran east on 76th Street away from the home where the party was being thrown.
However, Green denied having a gun and firing any shots while at the party.
Evidence from Green’s phone and Facebook shows him in possession of a brown pistol with laser device attached underneath the barrel.
Additionally, security camera footage obtained by investigators shows Green approaching the front door of the home, reaching into his waistband, removing a pistol, racking the slide and charging a round into it.
Investigators determined multiple spent casings from this pistol matched the shell casings found on the scene near 76th and Chicago.
Green is being held on a combined bond of $85,000.
17-year-old Adrian Casias was indicted on October 28 charged with deadly conduct discharge of a firearm in connection with the shooting.
