Firefighters save three people, multiple pets in South Austin apartment fire

AUSTIN, Texas — Firefighters rescued three people and multiple pets from a fire at a South Austin apartment Friday afternoon.

The Austin Fire Department responded to 5302 Indio Cove at 3:35 p.m.

No apparent injuries were reported among those rescued.

Multiple pets were also removed from the residence and were being attended to by firefighters and Austin-Travis County EMS.
