A new ranking from LinkedIn highlights where professionals in Dallas-Fort Worth are finding the strongest opportunities for career growth, and Collin County companies are dominating the list.

The platform’s latest local employer rankings include major names across banking, telecom, aviation and technology, with Plano and Irving accounting for much of the top five.

The top spot went to Citi in Irving, followed by JPMorgan Chase in Plano. AT&T, which will be moving its headquarters from Dallas to Plano, ranked third.

North Texas’ Corporate Shift Continues

The list also reflects the region’s growing “Y’all Street” reputation as banks and financial firms continue building larger footprints across North Texas.

Plano alone landed multiple companies in the top 10, reinforcing Collin County’s rise as a destination for corporate relocations, regional headquarters and large-scale office campuses.

The full top 10 included:

Citi — Irving
JPMorgan Chase — Plano
AT&T — Dallas / Plano
Bank of America — Plano
Lockheed Martin — Fort Worth
American Airlines — Fort Worth
PepsiCo — Plano
Fidelity Investments — Westlake
Texas Instruments — Dallas
Wells Fargo — Irving

What LinkedIn Measured

The rankings were built entirely from LinkedIn data and focused on long-term career growth rather than brand recognition alone.

The platform evaluated companies across eight areas tied to professional development, including promotion potential, skills growth, employee retention, recruiter demand, workplace culture, gender diversity, educational backgrounds and local workforce presence.

To qualify, companies needed at least 250 employees globally and at least 100 employees in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by the end of 2025. Companies with significant layoffs or high attrition were excluded.
