LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock’s newly elected city council members will take an oath of office Wednesday evening.
Mayor Mark McBrayer will be sworn in for a second term. District One Councilwoman Christy Martinez-Garcia and District Five Councilwoman Dr. Jennifer Wilson both won re-election.
District Three Councilman David Bruegel will take the oath of office for the first time.
The ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. at Citizens Tower.
