WOLFFORTH, Texas (KCBD) – UMC officials cut the blue ribbon Wednesday marking the official grand opening of its new clinic in Wolfforth.
The clinic opened earlier this month. It is located near Donald Preston Drive and U.S. 62.
UMC said the clinic provides more space, updated amenities and on-site lab and X-ray services. Wolfforth patients can also use the drive-thru testing area for common illnesses like strep, flu and COVID.
Dr. Megan Janson, a family medicine physician with a focus on women’s health and preventive care, said the clinic was much needed.
“Wolfforth is a growing community. It seems like the population here is doubling and tripling every year or two, and so, to have access to this high end type of services right here in our own community versus having to go further into the city is just wonderful,” Janson said.
Janson said staff members, including herself, are bilingual, allowing the clinic to also provide care for Spanish speaking patients.
