Outages continue to decline across the Coastal Bend as AEP crews assess damage and restore power following Tuesday’s overnight storms.
As of 11:25 a.m., AEP Texas’s outage map shows Nueces County reported 2,202 outages with an estimated restoration time of 4 p.m.
Aransas County followed with 1,556 outages and restoration expected by 2:30 p.m.
San Patricio County reported 1,183 outages with restoration estimated for 3 p.m., while Jim Wells County had 270 outages with restoration expected by 4 p.m.
Refugio County reported 127 outages with a restoration estimate of 3 p.m. Kleberg County had 65 outages with power expected back by 2:30 p.m., Bee County reported 57 outages with restoration estimated by 2 p.m., and Live Oak County reported 16 outages with restoration expected by 1:30 p.m.
The outages come after another round of strong storms moved through the Coastal Bend overnight, bringing heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds to parts of the region.

As of 7:49 a.m., AEP Texas outage data, Nueces County continued reporting the highest number of outages with 3,060 customers without power and an estimated restoration time of 1 p.m.

In total, 9,564 outages were reported across the Coastal Bend Wednesday morning.

As of 6:13 a.m. power outages continued climbing across the Coastal Bend Wednesday morning after another round of storms moved through the region overnight.
According to AEP Texas outage data, Nueces County reported the highest number of outages with 8,270 customers without power and an estimated restoration time of noon.
Other reported outages included:
San Patricio County: 2,242 outages, restoration by noonKleberg County: 1,414 outages, restoration by 10:30 a.m.Aransas County: 1,228 outages, restoration by noonJim Wells County: 492 outages, restoration by 10 a.m.Refugio County: 415 outages, restoration by noonBee County: 90 outages, restoration by 9:30 a.m.
In total, 14,151 outages were reported across the Coastal Bend on Wednesday morning.

A second round of storms moving through the Coastal Bend early Wednesday morning left thousands of residents without power across multiple counties, according to AEP Texas outage data.

In total, more than 8,700 outages were reported across the Coastal Bend on Wednesday morning.

As of Wednesday morning, the largest number of outages was reported in Nueces County, where 5,043 customers were without electricity with an estimated restoration time of 11 a.m.
Other counties reporting outages included:
San Patricio County: 659 outages with restoration expected by noonAransas County: 510 outages with restoration expected by noonRefugio County: 414 outages with restoration expected by noonJim Wells County: 1,955 outages with restoration expected by noonLive Oak County: 112 outages with an estimated restoration time of 8:30 a.m.Kleberg County: 117 outages with an estimated restoration time of 9:30 a.m.
The outages come just one day after another storm system left more than 10,000 residents without power across the region.
Drivers are urged to use caution on wet roads as crews continue working to restore electricity. Residents are also encouraged to monitor local weather conditions and prepare for possible additional storms.
