A longtime San Antonio TV anchor announced a major life update coming this fall.

KSAT 12 weekday noon anchor Courtney Friedman is expecting a second child, she announced on social media on Wednesday, May 20. Friedman wrote on Instagram, “Dreams coming true! 🩵Baby boy due in September and we could not be more excited (especially soon-to-be big sister!) We prayed hard for this little one and can’t wait for him to get here.”

Along with the caption, she shared family photos with her husband, Clint, and their daughter, who was born in 2021. Friedman told MySA via email that she is “so excited to finally share this news with the community!”

“My family and I have been praying for this little one, and we cannot wait until he gets here in September,” she wrote. “Thank you to everyone who has already reached out with love and support!”

Friedman has been with the station since 2014, but her move to the noon weekday anchor chair is fairly recent. In April 2025, she made the jump from the weekend evening and nightly newscasts, which she’d been anchoring for the previous six years.

“I am beyond excited to move Monday through Friday, anchoring a strong show with people I love,” Friedman wrote on social media at the time. “I’m honored to keep telling our KSAT viewers’ stories in yet another way! With weekends free for the first time in over six years, you might actually see me out with my family on a Saturday or Sunday! I can’t wait for this new chapter.”

In yet another new chapter, it seems more family time is on the way.
