Cita Coastal Resort Wear and Home Goods is expanding.
Located in the 100 block of North Alister Street, the store is 2,000 square feet in size right now, but owners Shana Mora Heard and Jerry Barras are knocking out a wall to combine the old space with an empty 1,000-square-foot suite, creating a total space of 3,000 square feet.
Heard said she plans to have “more of everything” in her store. That means more clothing, home goods, jewelry and more.
The store won’t close even temporarily for construction, Heard said, adding that she hopes to see the expansion finished by early June.
She said she also is working on building an online shopping site.
