HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) – A Payne Springs man accused of killing his father was arrested in the Dallas area, according to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.
The HCSO announced Ronny Medford, 63, of Payne Springs was arrested by U.S. Marshals in the Dallas area Wednesday.
Medford has been wanted on an arrest warrant for murder in the death of his father, Johnny Medford, 84, since May 11.

Johnny Medford was found dead at Ronny Medford’s home on Rush Road in the Golden Oaks subdivision of the Payne Springs, where police say they also found evidence indicating Ronny murdered his father.
There is currently no word on when Ronny Medford is expected to be returned to Henderson County.
